- 2 cup flour
- 2 cup white sugar
- 2 teaspoon soda
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon
- pinch salt
- 1/2 cup nuts
- 4 cup apples
- 6 ounce cream cheese (frosting)
- 3 tablespoon margarine (frosting)
- 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar (frosting)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla (frosting)
- dash salt (frosting)
- milk - optional (frosting)

- Bake 45 min. - 350°.
- For frosting: combine cream cheese, margarine, powdered sugar, vanilla and a dash of salt; add milk if needed to reach spreading consistency.
